Greg Weston is a teacher. A damn good one. He’s got a good life: loving wife, great friends, and a promising career at California’s prestigious Pacific Learning Academy. With plans for a child and a home in foreclosure, the promotion he’s up for couldn’t be more important. Then Greg spies a fellow teacher in a compromising situation with a high school student. He confronts them and warns them to stop whatever’s going on. He is informed soon after by the school’s administration that the girl has made a complaint of sexual misconduct – against him. In the quest to prove his innocence, he is faced with humiliation, physical assault, arrest, bankruptcy, and the crumbling of his marriage. He must use every last bit of his wits and luck to save his career, family, and freedom.

Author This Book

Craig Watkinson is the owner/operator of Watkinson Tutoring, a California based tutoring company specializing in helping students with learning differences. He's worked for the past two decades as an educator, and he appeared in the documentary “Dyslexia: A Hidden Disability” alongside Steven Spielberg and Whoopi Goldberg. Craig Watkinson is also a writer, director, and actor, having appeared in over 30 films and 20 television series. He wrote the screenplay for the award-winning 2003 feature film “The Cure” and has written nearly one hundred short stories. “Taut” is his first full-length novel.
